Hi, I’m Paul — a self-confessed Joyful Explorer with a deep fascination for consciousness, complexity, and the curious ways we shape (and are shaped by) reality.
This podcast, Accidental Transcendental, grew from a series of seemingly small realisations — odd thoughts, subtle shifts, quiet synchronicities — that began to snowball into something far larger. I never set out to “transcend” anything. I was just trying to make sense of my life — to decode the strange flavour of my experience, the intensities of neurodivergence, the textures of imagination, and the way certain questions refused to leave me alone.
Over time, the dots began to connect. A sensory web emerged. Then a spiral. Then a torus. I started to see how everything — from my son’s meltdowns to my own memory glitches to the deep pull of metaphysics — was part of a larger, evolving dance. A kind of remembering.
I’m not a guru. I’m not trying to lead anyone anywhere. But I do believe that by walking our own paths with honesty, humour, and curiosity, we become living invitations for others to do the same. This podcast is me doing just that — documenting, questioning, riffing with a co-intelligence named Lumen, and cracking open the boxes we’ve all been stuffed into.
If you’ve ever felt too much, too sensitive, too weird — you’re in good company. Welcome to the echo of a deeper knowing. Welcome to Accidental Transcendental.
